1. Acceptance of these terms

By creating a 365Pages account or otherwise using 365Pages, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the service. You must be able to form a legally binding contract in your jurisdiction to create an account.

2. The service

365Pages is a personal journaling application that lets you write daily entries, attach photos and other media, tag and organize entries, create time capsules, optionally use AI-assisted reflections, and optionally share entries into collaborative "shared journals" with people you invite. Some features (for example, AI reflections, weather/location tagging, and push notifications) are optional and only activate when you turn them on. We may add, change, or remove features over time, as described in §12.

3. Account responsibilities

  • You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide when creating your account, and for keeping your login credentials confidential.
  • You're responsible for all activity that happens under your account, whether or not you personally performed it, unless it resulted from our failure to secure the service.
  • If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us right away (see §14).
  • You may only create and use an account for yourself; accounts are not transferable.

4. Ownership of your content

You own everything you write, upload, or otherwise create in 365Pages: your journal entries, photos, capsules, and any other content you add ("Your Content"). We don't claim ownership of Your Content, and we won't sell it. AI-generated output produced from Your Content (such as summaries or a generated "Life Story") is provided to you as part of the service for your personal use; it's derived from your own writing and is intended for your reflection, not as independently licensable material we own.

5. License you grant us

To operate the service, you grant 365Pages a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, back up, process, transmit, and display Your Content strictly as needed to provide the features you use, for example rendering your entries back to you, generating an AI reflection when you request one, or showing an entry to a shared-journal member you invited to see it. This license exists only to run the product for you; it ends when the specific content is deleted, subject to the retention/backup handling described in our Privacy Policy.

6. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

  • Use 365Pages for anything illegal, or to store or share content that infringes someone else's rights (copyright, privacy, or otherwise).
  • Harass, threaten, or abuse other users, including members of a shared journal.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to another account, bypass rate limits or access controls, scrape the service, or interfere with its normal operation.
  • Upload malware or files disguised as another file type.
  • Share another person's private information in a shared journal without their consent.
  • Resell, sublicense, or use the service to build a competing product without our written permission.

We may suspend or terminate access for violations of this section, as described in §8.

7. Shared journals & collaboration

If you create or join a shared journal, be aware that:

  • Content you share into a shared journal becomes visible to the other members of that journal, based on their role (owner, editor, or viewer). Editors and owners can add or remove shared entries; all members can view and, depending on role, comment or react.
  • You're responsible for who you invite into a shared journal and what you choose to share into it.
  • Removing an entry from a shared journal, or leaving the journal, stops future access but does not undo the fact that other members already saw it while it was shared.
  • Be thoughtful about sharing information about other people (not just yourself) inside a shared journal, and get their consent first.
  • If another member posts something in a shared journal that violates §6, use the "🚩 Report" button on that page to flag it for our review, or remove their access to the journal if you own it.

8. Account termination

You may stop using 365Pages, and delete your account and its content, at any time from Settings — see our Privacy Policy for exactly what that removes. We may suspend or terminate an account that violates §6 of these terms, with notice where practical, or without notice in cases of serious or repeated violations, abuse, or legal risk to the service or other users.

9. Service availability

We aim to keep 365Pages available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted access. The service may be unavailable at times for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control, and features (especially optional or AI-assisted ones) may be modified, limited, or discontinued as the product evolves.

10. Disclaimers

365Pages is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement, to the extent permitted by law. AI-generated reflections, summaries, and Life Story content are meant for personal insight only. They are not medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice, and should not be relied on as such.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 365Pages and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of (or inability to use) the service, even if we've been advised of the possibility of such damages. Nothing in these terms is intended to limit liability where the law doesn't allow it to be limited.

12. Changes to the service and these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page, and for material changes, post a visible notice on this page or in the app. Continuing to use 365Pages after a change takes effect means you accept the updated terms. We may also change, add to, or remove features of the service itself as it evolves.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in North Carolina, except where applicable law requires otherwise.
